Teaching
Assistant Professor at the University of Barcelona; university teaching since 2016 across bachelor's and master's programmes at two universities
Teaching is a central strand of my career. Since the 2016/2017 academic year I have taught 1,249 hours across 17 different courses — alongside supervising bachelor's and master's theses — at the University of Barcelona and Universitat Carlemany, averaging 178 hours a year.
My classroom work ranges from the foundations of marine sciences at undergraduate level to advanced master's modules, combining theory, laboratory practicals and work at sea, with a hands-on approach geared to solving real environmental problems. Beyond formal courses, I have supervised 3 undergraduate final projects, 2 master's theses and 3 bachelor's theses, and taken part in a UB teaching-innovation project.
